Gunung Sinabung (bahasa Batak Karo: Deleng Sinabung) adalah gunung api di Dataran Tinggi Karo, Kabupaten Karo, Sumatera Utara, Indonesia. Sinabung bersama Gunung Sibayak di dekatnya adalah dua gunung berapi aktif di Sumatera Utara dan menjadi puncak tertinggi ke 2 di provinsi Sumatera Utara setelah Gunung Sibuatan. Ketinggian gunung ini adalah 2.451 meter.[1] Gunung ini tidak pernah tercatat meletus sejak tahun 1600.[2] Letusan terakhirnya diperkirakan sekitar tahun 800. Tetapi beberapa tahun silam, Gunung Sinabung mendadak aktif kembali dengan meletus pada tanggal 27 Agustus 2010.
