Titanoboaは絶滅したヘビの一種で、Titanoboa属の唯一のヘビです。
骨格の構造から判断すると、ボアコンストリクターの近縁種である。
現生コロンビア領の6,170～5,870万年前の堆積物から発見された。蛇の化石は、セレホン近郊の炭鉱で発見された。
ティタノボアは体長13メートル、体重1トン以上にもなる。体の最も広い部分は直径1メートルだった。12
歯の構造から判断して、彼女はもっぱら魚を食べていた。

Titanoboa is a species of extinct snake, the only one in the genus Titanoboa.
Judging by the structure of the skeleton, it was a close relative of the boa constrictor.
It is known from sediments 61.7–58.7 million years old in the territory of modern Colombia. The fossil remains of a snake were discovered in a coal mine near the town of Serrejon.
Titanoboa could reach 13 meters in length and weigh more than a ton. The widest part of her body was one meter in diameter. 12
Judging by the structure of her teeth, she ate exclusively fish.
