地球温暖化は海面上昇を引き起こし、沿岸の人口密集地を脅かすだけでなく、海洋生物、特に貝類にとって非常に危険な海洋を熱くしています。合法的にも違法にもトロール船による乱獲は、サンゴ礁を破壊するだけでなく、海洋生物を枯渇させています。クジラやイルカは恐ろしい方法で狩られているだけでなく、非人道的な海洋公園で娯楽にも使われています。農業で使われる農薬や栄養素の多くは最終的に沿岸海域に行き着き、酸素が枯渇して海洋植物や貝が死んでしまいます。工場や産業プラントは、下水やその他の流出物を海に排出します。

Global warming is causing sea levels to rise, threatening coastal population centers as well as heating up the ocean which is extremely dangerous to marine life especially shellfish. Overfishing through trawlers both legally and illegally is depleting our marine life as well as destroying coral reefs. Whales and dolphins are being hunted in horrible ways as well as being used for entertainment by inhumane marine parks. Many pesticides and nutrients used in agriculture end up in the coastal waters, resulting in oxygen depletion that kills marine plants and shellfish. Factories and industrial plants discharge sewage and other runoff into the oceans.
