In the year 1570, Japan is ravaged by a virus when a trading ship returns from China. The afflicted become malevolent, driven mad by some peculiar demon that drives them to cruelty and murder. They kill everyone who does not share their affliction and show no mercy.

The warring clans of Japan now fight for their lives. Will you live to see another spring?
